Addressing the distinguished gathering of Chief Justices and Judges at Hotel Clarks Avadh, Mr Dalveer Bhandari said that children have put forth only one demand at this conference that they be allowed to survive on this planet and be assured of safety and security in the coming years. It was now the responsibility of the elders and especially the judges to see that international laws are enforced to curb global problems like global warming, stockpiling of weapons of mass destruction, threat of nuclear war, climate change in a peaceful manner. No single country could solve such gigantic problems, they needed to be solved by collective determinism through international law. Peace is necessary for progress, he said. CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi delivered the Vote of Thanks.
