CMS delivers ace results, Students top in both ISC and ICSE Board Examinations at national and state level

The joy of victory that results from hard work has no parallel

Meritorious students of CMS have once again created history quashing all their own previous records in the ISC and ICSE Board Examinations 2018.

In the ISC (Class XII) Board Examination, Radhika Chandra and Saman Wahid of CMS Mahanagar Campus and Sakshi Pradyumn of CMS Kanpur Road Campus, all three students secured the first position in the country with 99.50% marks while two CMS students, Sanjeevani Hazra of CMS Kanpur Road Campus and Mansi Acharya of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I grabbed the second position nationally, securing 99.25% marks in aggregate. Besides, as many as 9 students of CMS, namely, Muskan Tandon and Ibrahim Kamal of CMS Mahanagar Campus; Shashwat Kumar of CMS Aliganj Campus I; Ashutosh Synghal and Swasti Arya of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I; Saumya Shikhar Mishra and Utkarsh Nigam of CMS Kanpur Road Campus; Bhagyashree of CMS Chowk Campus and Shreshtha Gupta of CMS RDSO Campus are at the third position nationally, with 99% marks.

In the ICSE (Class X) Board Examinations, Shreya Bhagat of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I secured the first position in the State with 98.80% marks and Khushi Verma of CMS Station Road Campus, secured the second position in the State with 98.60% marks. Three CMS students namely, Mimansha Ranjan and Anushka Singh of CMS Aliganj Campus I and Komal Haswani of CMS RDSO Campus have grabbed the third position in the State securing 98.20% marks each in aggregate.

Dear Parents,

The academic session 2017-18 culminated in May with Thanksgiving to 3,500 CMS teachers on 10th May. Hon’ble Shri Rajnath Singh, Home Minister of India very kindly graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. His presence made the occasion special and teachers felt honoured in the august company of country’s second-in-command.

May also saw the declaration of eagerly awaited Board exam results for classes X and XII. It was a momentous occasion which saw 15 brilliant CMS students securing the top 3 positions in the entire country in the ISC (XII) results. 3 CMS students, Radhika Chandra and Saman Waheed of CMS Mahanagar and Sakshi Pradyumn of CMS Kanpur Road shared All India 1st Rank with a whopping 99.50% marks. 2 CMS students shared All India 2nd Rank and 10 CMS students occupied the 3rd place in the country with 99% aggregate marks. In ICSE (Class X) results, Shreya Bhagat of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I topped in U.P. with 98.80% aggregate marks. A large number of 2269 CMS students secured 90% and above marks. These jubilant high scorers announced their success in a grand way by taking out a victory march on the streets leading to CMS Gomtinagar Campus II. Here, they were felicitated by Hon’ble Ms Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Minister for Women, Family, Mother and Child Welfare and Tourism, Government of U.P. The result euphoria refused to die down with CMS declaring cash awards for its 3 country toppers and honouring their parents by weighing them in fruits and flowers.

A 64-member delegation from CMS will once again do the institution proud by participating in the International Day of Yoga celebrations at the UN Headquarters in New York, USA this month.

CMS students once again demonstrated their concern for poor and needy by collecting Rs 4 lakh and donating it as charity equally to SPARC India, an NGO for the welfare of differently abled and to the Animal Ashram, an NGO for helping beleaguered street animals.

Thus the academic session 2017-18 came to an end on a high note with success in all spheres. I wish all the students and teachers a relaxing summer vacation and hope everyone will be back with renewed enthusiasm and continued desire for success.

Under the leadership of Founder of CMS, Dr Jagdish Gandhi, the 64 member students delegation of CMS visited Raj Bhawan to meet with the Governor Mr Ram Naik for his blessings prior to their visit to the Headquarters of the United Nations Organization.

The Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia also blessed this delegation at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I auditorium and wished them good luck for raising country's flag in foreign land. This delegation of 64 students, will perform yoga on 21 June, the fourth International Yoga Day, at the UNO Headquarters, New York, disseminating the heritage and culture of India across the world.

The 64 member delegation of CMS includes the students of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II, CMS Aliganj Campus I, CMS Station Road Campus, CMS Kanpur Road Campus and CMS Mahanagar Campus. The delegation will be leaving for USA on 10th June. They will be visiting several sights in America including John F. Kennedy Space Centre.

The 2263 meritorious students of CMS who scored a whopping 90% to 99.50% marks in ISC and ICSE Board Examinations 2018 took out a grand 'Victory March' on the next day of the result to celebrate their stupendous success, a grand motivation for their successors. The 'Victory March' of these CMS students began from the Maqdoompur Police Chowki, Gomti Nagar Extension and turned into a huge assembly on reaching CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium, where these 2263 meritorious students were honoured for scoring 90% to 99.50% marks in ISC and ICSE Board Exams. On this occasion, Chief Guest, Mrs Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Cabinet Minister, Women and Family Welfare, UP, honoured the three most meritorious students of CMS, Radhika Chandra and Saman Wahid of CMS Mahanagar Campus and Sakshi Pradyumn of CMS Kanpur Road Campus, who secured the top rank in National Merit List of ISC (Class XII) Board Examination, by awarding them cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh each and mothers of these three students, were weighed in fruits and flowers while their fathers and teachers were presented Shawls of Honour.

CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi gave a cheque of Rupees One Lakh to Anmol Srivastava, the exemplary student of CMS Kanpur Road Campus for taking courage in a very trying and grievous situation. During the ISC (Class XIII) Board Examination-2018, Anmol's father suddenly passed away on the day Anmol had to take his maths paper. Even then, this outstanding student gathered courage to take his exam and scored 100% in mathematics. He took English exam on the next day and scored 97% marks in it. Thus, despite being put in a very serious and sorrowful situation, Anmol scored a whopping 98.25% marks bringing fame to the institution. Dr Gandhi has also appealed to the government and NGOs for extending a helping hand to this bright student and making it easier for him to continue his studies.

237 CMS students qualify in All India IIT-JEE-Mains Exam

Once again the meritorious students of CMS have won accolades for the institution by securing tremendous success in the prestigious engineering entrance test IIT-JEE Mains-2018. This year, 237 CMS students emerged successful in IIT-JEE Mains, which is a record in itself.
