Five CMS students qualify PCS-J
Swarangi Shukla tops in UP PCS-J, Sonakshi Verma tops among girls in Bihar

As many as five former students of CMS qualified the PCS-J examination in 2017. Of these, two students, Swarangi Shukla of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I secured the top position in UP Public Service Commission (Judiciary), while Sonakshi Verma, an alumna of CMS Aliganj Campus I topped in girls' category in Bihar PCS-J. The other three students were, Ambika Mehrotra of CMS Mahanagar Campus (Rank 39th); Akansha Bajpai of CMS Kanpur Road Campus (Rank 86th) and Shaleen Mishra of CMS Mahanagar Campus (Rank 75th).

Union Home Minister Hon'ble Shri Rajnath Singh honours CMS Founder-Director Dr Bharti Gandhi

CMS Founder‐Director Dr Bharti Gandhi was honoured with 'Devi Award' by the Home Minister, Hon'ble Shri Rajnath Singh, at a grand felicitation function held under the aegis of The Sunday Standard of New Indian Express Newspaper in New Delhi at Hotel ITC Maurya.

Union Home Minister, Hon'ble Shri Rajnath Singh presented a memento and a certificate to Dr Bharti Gandhi in the presence of renowned dignitaries. Dr Gandhi is a well‐known figure in academic circles for providing commendable services towards empowering women, bringing about educational excellence, and encouraging innovation in education.

CMS team wins first prize at Robot Racing Competition in Canada

A 5-member delegation of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I participated in the International Autonomous Robot Racing Competition (IARRC-2017) organized from 15 to 17 July 2017 in Canada by the University of Waterloo, Canada. Students from several countries of the world had participated in the competition aimed at providing an international platform to the students to explore and showcase their scientific talents.

The CMS team named 'Ashva' comprising students Pushkar Raj Anand, Saurabh Biswas, Aastik Saluja and Vijay Parth Yadav, led by teacher Mr Harkirat Singh Gaur, was the only team from India which was awarded cash prize of US$ 500 as the first prize in Video Competition making the nation proud. The CMS students competed with engineering students at this international event.

CMS students honoured with Dr Ambedkar National Merit Awards

Anshika Raj, Gaurav Singh Sayana, Anirudh Deep and Urvashi Singh were awarded Dr Ambedkar National Merit Award for their academic excellence by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India. Anshika Raj, a meritorious student of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I, was awarded a cash prize of ₹ 50,000/- and a certificate of merit for her stupendous performance in the ISC (Class XII), examination while Gaurav Singh Sayana of CMS Mahanagar Campus was awarded a cash prize of ₹ 50,000/- and a certificate of merit. On the other hand, Anirudh Deep of CMS Station Road was awarded a cash prize of ₹ 40,000/- and Urvashi Singh of CMS Mahanagar Campus was awarded a cash prize of ₹ 20,000/- and a certificate of merit for their brilliant performance in the ISC examination.

Ishaan and Atul excel in IT Quiz

Ishaan Srivastava and Atul Patel of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II were declared runners up at the Regional Round of TCS IT WIZ held in New Delhi. This is one of the biggest IT quizzes in India held across 12 different cities. Over 900 children from 138 schools of India participated in this high level quiz held at the famous Dogra Hall at IIT Delhi.

Shreyansh felicitated with Ajaat Shatru Award

Shreyansh Trivedi, a differently-abled Class X student of CMS RDSO Campus was honoured with 'Ajaat Shatru Award' at national level along with a cash prize of ₹ 11,000/- for his outstanding ability in the field of sports. Shreyansh was felicitated at 17th Bihar Award Ceremony held in Patna. Shreyansh has special interest in badminton and achieving prize on national level itself proves his ability. Shreyansh is the only student from Uttar Pradesh to represent India for World Athletics Para Championship held in Switzerland and also in the Para Asian Games. Uttar Pradesh Government gives him ₹ 30,000/- per month as scholarship to encourage this world level sportsman for achieving more and more success.



Lucknow University confers Lifetime Achievement Award on CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi

On 28 April, 2018, CMS Founder-Manager, Dr Jagdish Gandhi was awarded the Lifetime Achievement award by the University of Lucknow for his long, dedicated and exemplary services to the noble cause of education. The award was presented by the Deputy Chief Minister of U.P., Dr Dinesh Sharma in the presence of the VC Lucknow University, Prof. S. P. Singh and other dignitaries. Dr Jagdish Gandhi was the elected President of Students’ Union at the University of Lucknow in 1959.

CMS Founder felicitated by Govt. of India for short film dedicated to 'Swachh Bharat Mission’

CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi was felicitated with 'Certificate of Excellence' by the Government of India as 'Grow Up' a short film made by CMS was rated the best at 'Swachh Bharat Short Film Festival Competition' jointly organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India and the National Film Development Limited awarding Dr Gandhi with the honour on behalf of Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India, Mr M. Venkaiah Naidu and Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India. The film made under the guidance of Dr Jagdish Gandhi, is dedicated to 'Swachh Bharat' mission inspiring the people especially students, adolescents and youths of India to join this campaign.

CMS student stands first in ICSI Foundation Examination

Nitnem Singh, student of CMS Kanpur Road Campus, secured the first position in Lucknow and tenth rank nationally, in the ICSI Foundation Examination organized at All India level under the aegis of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Students from top schools and colleges of India had participated in this tough examination.

Mridul and Shamit win first prize for YRE project

Mridul Rathi and Ashmit Singh of Class VIII won the first prize for a video created by them on Litter-less campaign under the YRE (Young Reporters for Environment) project. The YRE project, active in 25 countries of the world, aims to encourage the youth to take up social action projects related to sustainable development and environmental protection.

50 CMS students qualify state level NTS Exam

Out of 706 students selected from U.P. in the National Talent Search Examination at the state level in 2017, 94 students were from Lucknow. Of these, 50 students belonged to CMS alone while the other 44 were from all other schools of the city combined.

CMS Gomti Nagar I honoured as No. 1 Quality School of India

CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I was honoured by Education World Magazine for achieving the National Rank No. 1 in Academic Reputation and National Rank No. 1 in Leadership & Management. CMS Aliganj and CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus were also felicitated.

Education World honours Dr Jagdish Gandhi with Lifetime Achievement Award

CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Education World Magazine on 23 September 2017 at The Leela Hotel in Gurugram. At this function, India's top 200 schools out of the country's total 14 lakh schools were honoured for imparting quality education. Several other prominent personalities were also present at the function at which Dr Gandhi's detailed citation was read to a rapturous applause and standing ovation.
