Gathering of enlightened minds- Participants of the 18th International Conference Chief Justices of the World

Prof. Geeta Kingdon, President, CMS

From the President's Pen...
Dear Parents,

November saw the successful conclusion of the Chief Justices Conference, which provided our students an unparalleled opportunity for ‘education outside the classroom’, to engage with the issues of the age, to ask their questions and also to offer their own perspectives before the gathered international dignitaries. Discerning parents have appreciated that a rare, mind-expanding, platform of this magnitude was made available.

There were two important international events in November – Geofest of Rajajipuram II and Confluence of Indiranagar campus, which attracted national and international teams of students to compete and collaborate with CMS students. There have also been meetings of campus career counsellors, the electrical safety committee, Environment project coordinators, JYEP program coordinators and of campus psychological counsellors. Several campus’ junior students like CMS RDSO, CMS Aliganj I and CMS Mahanagar campus had video-conferencing with students from different schools of Pakistan, Kenya and India in November.

The meritorious students’ felicitation function on 16th November for class X was addressed by Dr. Dheeraj Sanghi, Dean of the Computing Department at IIT Kanpur, and for XII students on 18thNovember was addressed by Dr. Roger Kingdon, UK physicist, as well as Dr. Matthias Glowatz of University College Dublin.
