Three CMS delegations represent India at CISV camps abroad

CISV Camp in Italy

Delegates from CMS Kanpur Road participated in the month long "Children’s International Summer Village Camp (CISV) held in Rome, Italy from 29 June to 26 July 2018. The delegation comprising students Anvesha Raj, Vishu Baudh, Piyush Roy and Kushal Gautam was led by Mrs Ratna Pandey, teacher.

CISV Camp in Germany

A five-member delegation of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I participated in the CISV camp held in Wiesbaden, Germany. The delegation comprising students Ritika Pradhan, Ananya Singh, Ishant Singh and Rishi R Bhadauria was led by teacher, Ms Rashmi Asthana. The camp dates were 29 June to 26 July 2018.

CISV Camp in France

A delegation of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II comprising students Divyam Garg and Paritosh Singh, and teacher Ms Shraddhanjali Srivastava, left for France to participate in the month-long CISV Camp being held in Lyon, France, from 6 July to 2 August 2018.

CMS Asharfabad and Rajendra Nagar Campus II held their respective Open Day celebrations on 21 and 26 July 2018. A large number of students displayed their multifaceted talents enthralling the parents and guardians. While on one hand, melodious presentation of songs, dances and music mesmerized one and all, on the other hand, the self-made artifacts on display at the Art & Craft Exhibition put up at the school premises showcased the students' innovative skills.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to inaugurate International Media Conference at CMS on August 5

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the International Media Conference, organized under the aegis of CMS, on Sunday, 5 August 2018 at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. The conference is being organized on the topic 'Curbing Gender Violence : Role of Media, Society and School'. Renowned media personnel, Bureau Chiefs, Editors, Senior Journalists, Psychological Experts, Scholars and Educationists are gathering here in Lucknow to present their ideas and enter into discussion on ways and means to check atrocities on girls and women and the significant role of school, society and media in dealing with such issues, informed CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi at a press conference held on 26 july 2018.

Addressing the press personnel, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that for the past seven years, CMS has been organizing the International Media Conference to raise voice against crime and violence against girls and women. Only when the problem is highlighted, steps can be taken to remove this social evil. If the school and media join hands together, then we can do a lot to sensitize masses on gender bias violence, he said. CMS Radio starts programme 'Dastak’ on Encephalitis

CMS Community Radio in association with UNICEF Lucknow, has started a radio programme 'Dastak' on encephalitis. Community members, school students along with Dr Vikasendu Agarwal, Joint Director, Communicable Disease Control, UP, and Richa Srivastava, State Media Consultant, UNICEF, were present on this occasion. A live phone-in programme with Dr Vikasendu Agarwal was held in which Dr Agarwal answered the queries f the listeners about encephalitis and he also suggested ways to prevent it in detail.
