CMS organized grand Teachers Day Celebrations at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium on 4 September 2018. The programme began with the lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest, Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister for Railways, Govt. of India and garlanding of the portrait of great teacher‐philosopher, former President of India, Bharat Ratna Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Adding to the luminosity of the occasion was the auspicious presence of Cabinet Minister, Technical Education and Medical Education, UP, Mr Ashutosh Tandon and Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia. The Chief Guest, Mr Piyush Goyal honoured the most deserving and devoted teachers of CMS, showering them with honours and awards as well as cash prizes of Rs. 1.5 crore rupees for their outstanding services to the noble cause of education.

In the ISC Section, Mr Rohit Mishra, Physical Education teacher of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I was declared Best ISC (Class XII) Teacher for 2017‐2018 while in the ICSE Section, Ms Monika Malik, Computer Application Teacher was declared Best ICSE (Class X) Teacher and both these teachers were honoured with handsome cash prizes and glowing tribute for their efforts while their mothers and fathers were honoured ceremoniously on stage at the function. Besides these, the Best CMS teachers of the various CMS campuses and best subject teachers were also honoured with cash prizes and certificates. Earlier in the morning, the over 300 CMS teachers took out a Character Building March calling for imparting Human, Material and Divine education for a complete development of students' personalities and imbibing moral value in them.

On 8 September, CMS Founder Manager, Dr Jagdish Gandhi was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at North Education Summit organized at Taj City Centre, Gurugram by the premiere education magazine of India, Education Today in the presence of representatives from Top Schools of India for his 60 years of contribution in the field of education. It may be mentioned that due to the unique education methodology of CMS while on one hand students of this prestigious school are creating unparalled academic records in the board examinations year after year, on the other hand, CMS alumni holding various responsible positions the world over are bringing fame to the institution.

CMS students donate eight lakh rupees and useful articles for Kerala Flood Relief Fund

CMS students collected eight lakh rupees and clothes, pulses and other cereals and donated them to Kerala Samajam. This amount will be given to the Chief Minister Flood Relief Fund of Kerala and useful things will be made available for the flood victims. CMS students collected this amount from their pocket money and at the Teachers Day function organized at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium, the Railway Minister, Govt. of India, Mr Piyush Goyal handed over the cheque to Mr Jenson James, the President of Kerala Samajam. The Minister for Technical and Medical Education, UP, Mr Ashutosh Tandon; Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia; CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi; CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, Head of CMS Computer, Film and Radio Division, Mr Verghese Kurian were also present.

New Parents' and Grandparents' Evening organised by CMS Rajajipuram Campus I

CMS Rajajipuram Campus I organized 'New Parents and Grandparents Evening' at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium with great joy and enthusiasm on 2 September 2018. The parents and grandparents of tiny‐tots got overwhelmed with their dancing skills and childlike talents. Tiny‐tots were profusely cheered up by their grandparents, present in a large number and the students seemed truly enthusiastic to perform their best infront of them. Maternal and paternal, both the grandparents were especially invited for this function. The grandparents were all praises to the event and said that the efforts of CMS to impart quality education to the students is a milestone for other schools. Earlier, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning.
