Brain O Brain Fest

Butool Zaidi of class II-G has been awarded as the State Competition Topper in Uttar Pradesh at Brain O Brain Fest 2018. She has also been awarded with a Demo Kid Award for her exemplary performance in Mental Maths.


SOF – International English Olympiad

Another feather was added to our cap by Varuni Hazra who secured Zonal Rank 02 / International Rank 115 in the SOF – International English Olympiad Year 2017-18 she was rewarded with a silver medal and a cash prize of Rs. 2500/-.

We also congratulate her on achieving 94 Zonal Rank in Science Olympiad in the same competition.

She also brought glory to the school by winning the 1st position in the written test organized by the Central Command Equitation training Institute. Heartiest congratulation to Varuni Hazra for her performance. We wish her all the best…

It was a day of celebration at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II as respected Principal ma’am Sangeeta Banerjee gave away awards to 30 brilliant students who performed exceptionally well in the Annual Comparative of class – VIII (2017-18).

She motivated the students to do well in their future endeavours.

In Wiz National Spell Bee, 2017 – 18 organized by St Francis College many of our students secured medals and cash prizes.

IBT Results

Master Atharv Narayan of class 9A CMS Gomti Nagar Campus 2is student of exceptionally high calibre and has a gifted capacity of excelling in all subjects.

He has proven to be an asset to the institution by showing an excellent result in International Benchmark Test(IBT) organised by The Australian Council for Educational Research.

He scored a High Distinction in Mathematics with 99 percentile and He has also received a Certificate of Distinction in English with 80 percentile.

This is an outstanding achievement of Master Atharv.

The overall result of the branch is as follows

TCS IT WIZ New Delhi 2017

Runner up: City Montessori School, Gomtinagar Campus II, Lucknow


CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II students: Ishaan Srivastava and Atul Patel secured 3rd position in TCS IT WIZ, Delhi 2017. They have won the following prizes

Over 900 children thronged the famous Dogra Hall at IIT Delhi. The smog during the week and the closure of the schools just did not seem to matter for a quiz that had looked forward to. After a well-balanced prelim, the finalists who made it from the prelim were

The final started with Pick brain calling on the finalists. The line-up saw DPS featuring the defending national champion, while two teams from Lucknow made it on stage to make the battle tougher. Teams had come in from Dehradun, Meerut, Kanpur, Lucknow and all over Delhi and NCR.

The final saw the DPS duo start well and get to a quiz lead in the first couple of rounds. From there on the defending champions played cautious to ensure they did not take any negatives and kept the others at bay right through the final. It gave them the Delhi title and took them closer to another national crown.

The rest of the teams were locked in the battle for the second spot. Ryan looked like inching ahead of the rest but in the end with some sharp buzzing it was the City Montessori duo from Lucknow that finished second.

The chief guest, Prof. Anu Singh Lather, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Delhi Technical University appreciated the teams on an amazing performance and gave away the prizes. Mr.Tej Paul Bhatla, VP and Head TCS North appreciated the schools for coming out in large numbers and expressed feeling charged and rejuvenated watching the young minds in action.

Shreiya Agarwal(11 C) of CMS GN II got second prize in the event ECOJAM at INGENIUM held at LMC.


REPORT ON ACHIEVEMENT IN POWER OF PEN

Varuni Hazra of Class 8 – A won the first prize in Power of Pen contest organised by CMS Editorial Board in Session 2016-17. The wrote a story on theplot given to her.

  • Our intensive academic training and congenial atmosphere have yielded commendable results in ICSE. Total 108 students appeared for the ICSE exam 2015-16 out of which 43 students scored 90% and above. Lowest percentage in the ICSE exam was 78%.
  • Achintya Veer Singh brought laurels to the branch by scoring 97.8% in the ICSE Exam.
