Like mother, the mother tongue is also close to heart and easy on lips. It is warm to speak and soothing to listen. It comes naturally to each one of us where we don’t have to exert ourselves. These reasons are ample enough to promote and celebrate “Hindi Divas”.

We the Pre Primary section of City Montessori School Gomti Nagar I on September 14th 2016 celebrated with great enthusiasm “Hindi Diwas”. A special assembly was held, where the children were first told about different languages and what the word “Mother tongue” means for most of us.

This was followed by various songs and rhymes in Hindi .A beautiful and informative board also stood tall, to tell about the importance of the day. The classes also reiterated the day and its importance to the children.

As always it was a great day with enormous reasons to feel good about here in the Pre Primary Section of City Montessori School Gomti Nagar 1.
