World Soil Day

The Pre Primary section of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I keeps trying innovating things that makes the little time that the students spend with us special and meaningful. We believe in learning by seeing and doing. A simple word like Soil needs to told to the children that they understand it with precision. With this in mind we celebrated World Soil Day on December 5, 2018.

The children were told about soil as being an important entity for the survival and growth of the plants and how we can add manure to keep it clean and healthy. The children were taken on a nature walk and shown the soil. They were even given chance to touch and feel the texture too. The children were happy to learn things by doing and seeing. The world outside the classroom is always fascinating for the children and we amalgamate the two to make the education more vibrant and joyful.

Dolls Day Out

The prized possession of the little children is their toys. The toys carry a special meaning and a comfort which we adults cannot comprehend. Celebrating children and their childhood is the prime focus of the Pre Primary and Montessori particularly.

With this thought in mind we celebrated Dolls Day out on December 3, 2018, in the Pre Primary section of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I.

The students of Montessori brought with them their favourite toys particularly dolls and soft toys. They showed it to the class and did a little show and tell activity by sharing where they got it from and why they love that particular doll. The children got a chance to speak and share their feelings, enjoying at the same time.

A special assembly gave the children a further insight into this simple but meaningful day.

Our purpose for these activities gets accomplished as soon as we see our students happy and joyful and learning at the same time.

Once again a beautiful day well thought and well presented.
