World Pet Day

February 20th 2018 on the International Calendar read as World Pet Day and we the Pre Primary Section of City Montessori School, Gomtinagar 1 geared up to celebrate this day.

The children came dressed as Pet animals like Dog, Cat, Rabbit, birds etc. A dedicated area was decorated with the pictures and cut outs of the Pet animals. The children were very happy to see the animals .They were educated about what Pet animals are, and how and why they should be taken care of and protected. They were also told about domestic and wild animals to enhance their knowledge.

The children had a wonderful time out of a very simple idea, which is what we strive for.
