The 71st Independence day was celebrated with much patriotic fervour at Aliganj I campus! The tricolour flag was hoisted by our dear Principal mam. Everyone sang the National anthem.This was followed by the Principal's speech.She requested us to contemplate & appreciate the challenges ,responsibilities & opportunities that being free entails.We should be grateful to our true heroes I.e.the soldiers because of whom we are living a carefree life. The Investiture ceremony was conducted & the office bearers took an oath to discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school to the best of their capacity. The speech on" the duties of a free citizen "was presented by Vishrut Trivedi of class 12D.Patriotic songs were sung by the music teachers. Prizes were given away to the winners of singing,dance,collage,drawing competitions which were organised earlier as a part of Independence day celebrations. The vote of thanks was given by the head boy & head girl. Laddoos were distributed by Principal mam to celebrate this auspicious occasion!
Aliganj 1 campus kids celebrated Raksha Bandhan in their own special way with self styled rakhis,sweets & fun n frolic!
A skit dedicated to all the MOTHERS of the world was wonderfully conducted by the students of Class 12F of Aliganj Campus I. Under the guidance of the class teacher, Mrs.Jolly Banerjee, they highlighted the love & care of a mother.A mother is like a "God" whom we can see.
Deepika Gupta, ex Head girl, Aliganj Campus I, who has got selected in Cornell university, USA had an interactive session with Mr.Gaurav Chikkar. The talk included all the details of her selection,fee structure, choice of subjects, job placements etc.
The students attentively heard the details & looked motivated enough to study in universities abroad!
The Junior Section of Aliganj Campuse I participated in the Video Conference Generation Global today in Gomtinagar Campuse II branch. The topic Given to them was "Essential of dialogues-Festivals". The Conference under the expert guidance of the teacher-coordinator; Mrs.Archana Agarwal proved to be a learning platform wherein Children interacted with their counterparts from other countries. We strive to establish & carry on friendly relations all around the globe .Such exchange programs are welcome by one & all!
The Roza Iftar party was organised in Aliganj campus I today i.e.on the 1st day of the month of Ramadan Kareem.The Principal & the Staff of Aliganj campus I were perfect hosts to the Muslim Staff ,Parents & Students.Amidst the reciting of "Naats",the fast was broken with the traditional "Khajur " &" Sherbet".The Rozedars were later seen savouring the mouth watering" iftaar" served.Namaz was offered separately by ladies & gents in different rooms set up for the same purpose.
An Orientation program on Parent's Awareness was organized at Aliganj 1 campus on 15.2.17.
Dr. Nehashree Srivastava was the resource person .She addressed the parents of the students of the Primary & Junior section.
The workshop proved to be an eye-opener for all!
A skit was performed during the assembly which gave all the students, interesting tips to organize effectively , plan wisely & perform well in the examinations .
The students of 9E under the guidance of Mrs. Saher Faisal, their class teacher conducted this activity with a lot of creativity & confidence
JYEP animators of Aliganj 1 campus prepared hand made articles & sold them to the parents & teachers. The money collected is used for social causes like Girl child education, helping the elderly in old age homes & orphans as well as the deprived.
